Just Takes the Right Idea - Luke Johnson

Luke was probably a frat boy.
From what I gather now, he's not doing much with his life.

Yet there's one endearing quality about him.
Beginning in early college, Luke became obsessed with fame.
And, the itch drove him to action.

He believed he could win celebrity via viral video.
In his first attempt, Luke made a series of comedic sketches. Click here to see. ("Uncle Scruffles" ain't half bad.)
While these videos caused a few semi-retarded "brosephs" to chuckle, they didn't score him celebrity.

Luke tried a more serious approach.
He staged a hunger strike, recording his call to action on video diary. See it here.
As before, he gained the respect of a few YouTube hobos, but not enough for fame.

Then somewhere along the way, Luke got an idea.
A good idea, something never done before.
Determined to triumphantly tap the viral video vein, he created the "The Luke Johnson Phone Experiment." See the original video here.

Yeah, so honestly The Experiment is pointless.
But you see how it could gain traction.
You see how it could drive thousands, no millions to utter his name.

Luke acted upon a good idea, and it earned him the spotlight.
He appeared on TV shows including CNN, NPR, BBC News, The Rachael Ray Show, The Today Show and more.
Luke got famous.
